The New Continent by Lars Bartkuhn released! The New Continent is the third album of Sonar Kollektiv’s LARS BARTKUHN.

The talented artist from Frankfurt is a passionate music lover from his earliest childhood on. LARS grew up with the sound of THE BEATLES and THE BEACH BOYS in his ears and never stopped exploring the world of music from Jazz to Rock over to Funk and to Brazilian Music. He also has a long-standing experience as professional musician. He played in many different formations from Jazz quartets to Funk crews over to Brazil bands and Fusion combos, where he refined his skills and discovered new vibes in music.

Through his search of harmonies LARS innovates and bridges the gap that between all the different styles of our contemporary music landscape to create a musical masterpiece that will take you to some unexplored musical lands.

RECLOOSE WINS BEST ELECTRONICA/DANCE ALBUM AT 2008 NZ MUSIC AWARDS! Somehow Recloose fooled the masses of unsuspecting Kiwis into giving him the 'Best Electronica/Dance Album' at this year's NZ Music Awards.
Somebody didn't tell them he's from Detroit... Nah kidding.

“Yeah, somehow I won. What a crazy night. Decked out in white suit styles, walking a red carpet, mingling with the (NZ) stars, and not really expecting to win.

Secret Love 5 out now! With the release of the Secret Love compilation series Sonar Kollektiv have succeeded in encapsulating this spirit shared among friends and fans of the label and in delivering a very personal vision of what soul-folk music is.

And given the success of the previous volumes of Secret Love with more than 30.000 copies sold, JAZZANOVA faced something of a challenge in putting together this 5th issue in the series. Of course, expectations are high following the acclaim received by the previous four Secret Love compilations.
